Chelmsford and District Model Railway Club
The Chelmsford & District Model Railway Club has been in existence for over 20 years,
and has met in some interesting places - from a carpet shop to a Members garage.
The Club presently has layouts in '0' '00' '009' and 'N', either working or under
construction. Members are also interested in 'EM', '0-16.5', 'H0' and G-Scale - some are
also closely interested in the 12 inch to the foot scale items.
The club holds an annual exhibition in October.
The Club is most fortunate with its present home, near the centre of Chelmsford, the County Town of Essex.
The Club meets on Monday and Wednesday evenings with Members arriving from around 7:00pm.
The Club currently has six layouts available for exhibition, these are:
That Dam Railway 'OO9'
Haddon Bank 'OO'
Stoke Bishop to Filbridge 'O'
Melbury 'N'
The Blitz 'OO'
Columbia Wharf 'OO'
In addition we have recently started planning a further layout, a North American narrow gauge layout set in the early 1900s.

The Club has hosted visits from other railway groups in the East of England, including regular meetings of the local branch of the 009 Society.
Chelmsford and Disrict MRC is a member of the Chiltern Model Railway Association
